As we were driving around the 18 mile loop, Sergey commented, "This is God's Country. It is beautiful here." And so it is. A big valley pasture ringed by mountains, full of hiking trails, old settlements, bear, deer, even horses. But most of all, a peaceful feeling that feeds the soul.

Since I decided I'm going to start blogging, I'm going to try to put up posts about this beautiful country, and the many many things to do here a couple of times a week. No promises, but I vow to try. I'll post information on awesome roads for scenic touring, motorcycle rides, directions and descriptions of waterfalls, some of our guest's experiences and anecdotes, what kind of wildlife can be seen where and when, fun things to do and whatever else comes to mind.

Hopefully, some of you will add your own experiences of the area to share with all. So, let's blog!
